Learn to Surf Courses

Only a surfer knows the feeling - experience the thrill of riding on the ocean's energy.

Surfing is a dynamic sport that can be enjoyed by all people & Free Spirit's Surf Courses cater for your individual needs & experience levels. Utilising proven progressions over a 2-day course, we offer you the opportunity to gain all the basic skills for a lifetime of surfing. This includes surf safety, weather & swell predictions & how to surf the waves. We visit the best beaches for learning & spend social moments in between surf sessions.

Experience Dunedin's endless white sand surf beach and learn to ride that perfect wave.

Course Cost $275 per person - maximum of 10 people

  • Private coach transport to beaches & back to the University
